  • baking sheet
My mother makes these and we couldn't have Christmas without them! We keep a log roll in the freezer to bake when friends come over.
Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Form dough into a log-shaped roll. Let it stand in the freezer overnight, wrapped in wax paper or plastic wrap.
Slice approximately 1/8-inch thick and bake on a cookie sheet at 325°F until slightly browned.
Leave on cookie sheet for 5 minutes before removing. Try not to overcook; they are best slightly chewy!
