chicken broth | 1 can | |
chopped broccoli | 3 cups | |
shredded cheddar cheese | 3 cups | |
half and half | 2 cups | |

1 | Cook onion in butter until tender in a large pot. |
2 | Stir in flour and blend well. |
3 | Gradually stir in water; add chicken broth and broccoli. |
4 | Cook and stir until thickened and broccoli is tender. |
5 | Stir in cheese and half and half. |
6 | Cook and stir until cheese is melted and soup is heated through. Do not boil! |
