|Combine the sugar and water in a small saucepan. Warm over low until the sugar dissolves. Cool the syrup.|
|Grate the lime zest into the syrup, then squeeze the lime juice into it. Stir to combine.|
|Peel the bananas and slice them thin. Marinate the banana slices in the fridge for 1 hour before serving.|
