This recipe includes two different versions of smoothies. The steps are essentially the same, but the ingredients will vary depending on whether you're undergoing treatment or have completed it. The notes below include details on how I came up with each combination.
Ingredients
 apple1 whole
 frozen banana1 whole
pre peeled before freezing
 other seasonal fruits
such as berries, peaches, pears, etc.
 whole milk2 cups
 yogurt1 cup
for a sweet and sour flavor
 ice cream2 scoops
 almond butter1 tbsp
add for peanut butter flavor and extra protein
 protein powder1 tbsp
for added protein
 apple1 whole
 banana1 whole
frozen or fresh
 other seasonal fruits
such as berries, peaches, pears, etc.
 fruit smoothie blend 1/3 bottle
such as Odwalla brand Superfood, Monster B, or other (avoid using fruit juice alone with no fiber such as orange juice)
 almond milk 1/3 part
preferably unsweetened
 almond butter1 tbsp
if more protein is required
 flax seed1 tbsp
grounded, my old coffee grinder works very well to pulverize the flax seeds
 spirulina1 tsp
 other dry or wet ingredients
as recommended by naturopath, nutritionist or doctor

Cut apple into quarters, cut out seeds and stem, add to blender.

Add banana, break in half and add to blender.

Add other seasonal fruit. During treatment, be super sure that the skins are washed very well. There are now "veggie / fruit wash soaps" widely available. If counts are very low, fruit may need to be peeled to reduce risk to any immune system vulnerabilities.

Add the amount of liquid that you feel you can drink while making the smoothie the consistency you want.

Add protein and dry ingredients (if any).

Blend until all fruit is blended and smooth texture is created. Serve and enjoy.
