This cocktail is inspired by the Ghost of Mary at NYC's Prune and by the Summer Mary served at SF's Skool. You will simply feel the essence of a bloody mary with each sip.

For the ghost of mary mix
Combine everything but the vodka - all the veggies, spices, and seasoning - in a blender. Blend to puree.
Strain the mix for a few hours in the fridge. We find that a mesh strainer lined with a coffee filter or paper towel (without any printed designs on it) works best.
To prepare the cocktail
Add the ghost of mary mix with the vodka in an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake to chill and combine.
Check for taste and season with additional sherry vinegar only if needed. Serve and enjoy immediately.
