p-gel-southwest (pear divine)

p-gel-southwest (pear divine)
4 parts pear vodka
2 parts st. germain elderflower liqueur
1 part lemon
2 parts champagne
(SW) = sparkling wine
This drink title is a perfect example of the mnemonic devices we create to quickly capture drink ingredients in a cocktail when we are out and about doing research. As long as we have the list of ingredients, we can easily reverse-engineer the proportions at home.

Adapted from the Pear Divine cocktail from San Francisco’s Neiman Marcus.
Combine pear vodka, st. germain, and lemon in a cocktail shaker with ice.
Double strain the cocktail base before topping with champagne.
If measuring with ounces, the proportions above make two cocktails.
