bright rosewater cocktail

4 parts vodka
1 1/2 parts st. germain elderflower liqueur
1/2 part rosewater
1 part lemon
fresh squeezed
Great recipes sometimes come from happy accidents. We came up with this drink after doing a quick Google search on rosewater cocktails and making do with what we had on hand. The result was juicy, bright, and aromatic.
Shake ingredients in an ice-filled cocktail shaker to chill and combine. Sample and adjust ingredients to taste. Double strain into a martini glass.
If measuring with ounces, the proportions above make two cocktails.Be careful not to use too much rosewater. It starts to taste like tart, artificial grape soda if added in excess.
