Chai Cold Cereal
ingredients
all
2 cups rolled oats
mixed with 3/4 cups yogurt and allowed to ferment at room temperature overnight
1 whole cinnamon stick
1/4 tsp ground ginger
4 cups coconut milk
1/4 tsp cardamom
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 whole cloves
2 Tbs pumpkin seeds
1 Tbs flax seeds
1 Tbs chia seeds
2 medium dates
pitted, minced
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 pinch sea salt
1 banana
sliced
1 pomegranate
This recipe contains anti-cancer ingredients that are high in anti-oxidants like Vitamin E and Vitamin C. Rolled oats is high in fiber and the oats are fermented in yogurt overnight for greater digestibility.

In a small saucepan, add coconut milk, cinnamon stick, and ginger. Then add combined oat-yogurt mixture. Bring to a simmer.

Add spices: cardamom, turmeric and cloves. Stir in for a minute.

Then add pumpkin seeds, flax seeds and chia seeds. Cook for 1 more minute.

Remove cinnamon stick and stir in salt, dates and vanilla. Remove from heat.

Transfer to bowl and top with banana slices and pomegranates.
