- 7 X 11" baking dish (or similar size)
1 | Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. |
2 | Place 2 T butter in a 7x11 baking dish, place the dish in the preheated oven until butter is melted. Remove dish from the oven. |
3 | Stir salt, asafoetida and pepper into the melted butter with a fork, until evenly distributed. Coat both sides of cod in the seasoned, melted butter, and lay the cod in the baking dish. |
4 | Bake cod in the preheated oven for ten (10) minutes. |
5 | Remove cod from oven, top with lemon juice and white wine. |
6 | Place cod back in the oven and bake until fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork, approximately ten (10) more minutes. |
7 | Remove baked cod, separate into four (4) individual portions,* and garnish with parsley and green onion. Serve with lemon wedges. |
