This is so simple to throw together and much tastier and better for you than store bought.
Ingredients
 soy sauce or tamari 1/2 cup
 mirin 1/4 cup
Japanese cooking wine
 maple syrup or honey2 Tbs
 fresh ginger1 tsp
grated
 garlic1 clove
grated
 scallion1 stalk
sliced
 sesame seeds1 Tbs
 arrowroot2 tsp
dissolve in a little water to make a slurry

Put everything except the arrowroot in a small sauce pot. Bring to a gentle boil.

Add the arrowroot slurry and simmer until mixture thickens. Remove from heat.
