Ketchup is one of the most consumed processed foods in the United States. It is filled with high fructose corn syrup and other refined ingredients. This simple and healthy alternative can be stored and used in a variety of dishes.
|Purée tomatoes and garlic in a blender.|
|Place all of the ingredients in a saucepan and whisk until well blended. Turn the heat to medium and bring to a simmer. Continue to simmer the mixture until it reduces and thickens to the consistency of ketchup.|
|Season to taste.|
