Orange + Vanilla Coconut Whipped Cream

1 can coconut milk
13.5 oz, chilled in refrigerator over night
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 Tbs maple syrup
2 Tbs orange zest
1 pinch sea salt

A non-dairy version of a favorite dessert topping, coconut cream provides health supportive medium chain fatty acids, which are easily absorbed and metabolized in the body. Dollop this cream over your favorite dessert for a boost in flavor and energy.
Open can of chilled coconut milk, remove cream top with spatula, and put into medium bowl.
Add vanilla extract and maple syrup, and blend with a hand mixer until thick and creamy. If cream is too soft to dollop on cake, chill in refrigerator until thickened.
Fold in orange zest. Season with a pinch of sea salt to bring flavors together.
