This cocktail was originally a morning-after cocktail remedy. By delivering a healthy dose of "hair of the dog that bit you," this beverage brought the drinker back to life. Hence, the name corpse reviver. :)
Ingredients
 pernod2 drops
per glass
 maraschino cherry1 whole
per glass, stemless
 gin2 oz
 cointreau2 oz
 lillet blanc2 oz
 lemon juice2 oz

Coat the inside of each serving glass with the pernod and set the stemless cherry on the bottom of the glass. Reserve.

Combine the gin, cointreau, lillet, and lemon in an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Double strain into the serving glasses and enjoy immediately.
