2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp sesame oil
4 tbsp water
4 tsp cornstarch
2 whole green onions
thinly sliced
1/2 inch ginger
grated
1 package ground turkey
approxiamately 1.5 pounds
1 tsp wine
or sherry
3 packages wonton skins
in deli case of most markets
6 cups oil

Mix the ground turkey, wine, salt, pepper, sesame oil, water, cornstarch, green onions, ginger, and set aside.

To wrap the wonton, put .5 teaspoon of filling in the corner of the wonton skin.

Moisten opposite corners of wonton skin with water, roll filling diagonally in the skin until you have formed a triangle.

Press opposite corners together to keep filling in place.

Moisten these corners with water and press them together to adhere.

Set aside on tray lines with wax paper. Put a layer of wax paper between each layer of wontons to prevent them from sticking together.

To fry the wonton, heat oil in a large pot and fry until golden brown. Cool on paper towels.
