Checka's Alternative Recipe for a Quick Arrabbiata Sauce

small onion
one half
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cups Basic Tomato Sauce
see Basic Tomato Sauce recipe
hot sauce
to taste
3 tbsp Italian seasoning

Cook the onion in the olive oil until it is translucent.

Add the tomato sauce and hot sauce (the amount depends on how hot you want it).

Coat the top of the sauce with Italian seasoning and cook over low heat.

When the sauce begins to bubble, it is ready to add to your pasta (penne is preferable since it will hold the sauce nicely).
